My crate of deliciousness has arrived!
Being vegan is more than saving the planet or the animals–it’s also about saving ourselves. The health benefits of vegans are endless. A vegan diet proves to be one of the healthiest lifestyles you can live. It can lead to a lower risk of diseases, a decrease in cholesterol, and sugar levels. I understand that going Vegan is easier said than done – but being vegetarian on some days of the week might be a great place to start. My family isn’t completely vegan and I will allow my kids to make decisions like these on their own, when they feel that the time is right – but as of now, I make it my duty to introduce them to a variety of diets and foods.
These are our family favorites, my kids love this @herbivohr range from @greenheartorganicszn – It’s a great alternative to meat and it would be nice to introduce more of these products into your home and to your kids as well.
Here is another interesting fact : 80% of Antibiotics Sold in the US Are for Livestock…. The pharmaceutical industry makes a killing off selling antibiotics, but patients sick with the flu aren’t the reason behind the bulk of sales. Surprisingly enough, 80% of antibiotic sales in the US are for livestock, not humans. Every day countless cows, chickens, pigs, and goats are pumped with antibiotics to promote growth and prevent infections they don’t even have. Not only is this unhealthy for the animals, but whoever eats them (and their products) is consuming a load of antibiotics as well.
