Save Our Cheetahs!
There are only 7100 cheetahs left in this world – We are fortunate to have this picture and the opportunity to have met beautiful cheetahs at the cheetah rehabilitation project in Nambiti. The rehab has now closed down and the cheetahs are fast on their way to extinction.
Did You know?
The word “Cheetah” is derived from the Hindi word ” Chita ” meaning “spotted one”. The Cheetah is the fastest land animal reaching speeds of 45 – 70 mph. Cheetahs are officially endangered in India. And to think King Akbar had a collection of 6000 cheetahs at one time!

You should visit the Moholoholo Animal Rehab Centre in Hoedspruit also! They do wonders for animals there, we even got to touch a Cheetah and you can interact with other animals as well. The kids will love it!
