Roti & Chai – Indian Fast Food

I have watched the Roti & Chai brand being built from the
ground up. I have watched everything unfold with
great admiration, not just
for the brand, but for the talented man
behind the brand. It remains my happy place because when
I visit, the hospitality and love always comes through... it
exudes in everything from the food to the decor.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of being
invited to taste one
of the new desserts before its release to the
public next week. I
have strong Bengali roots, and this dessert is of Bengali
origin - and also one of my personal
favourites.

I present to you, Rasmalai! And the best rasmalai I have found in Durban ️ Rasmalai is a Bengali dessert consisting of soft paneer balls immersed in chilled creamy milk. Like Rasgullas, Rasmalai is also made with homemade cheese known as “paneer” - Instead of being soaked in sugar syrup like Rasgullas, Rasmalai is soaked in sweet, flavoured milk and topped with pistachios or slivered almonds.
Make sure to visit @roti_and_chai next week to try this amazing new dessert on offer. I can promise you that you will not be disappointed.
I took a whole squad for sampling last night and everyone gave the @roti_and_chai RASMALAI a big
