Gucci

Driven by the desire to be different - Mémoire D'une Odeur is a unisex fragrance.
Acting as Gucci's first universal fragrance, the scent was designed to transcend gender-specific constraints typically associated with traditional cologne and perfume making.

I was attracted and deeply drawn to the bottle- it’s a vintage inspired design with intriguingly sensual tones. The color combination of light green and gold on this bottle is the best I have seen of late. The simple but sophisticated bottle design is actually a recall from a Gucci fragrance in the 90s.

At first smell, it’s easy to dislike this. It smells like greenery, like a herbal concoction. That’s definitely the Roman Camomile coming through. Camomile is not commonly used in perfumery and after a few minutes, it will evaporate of your skin and the other notes will come through subtly. Roman Chamomile blends its green aromatic scent with Indian Coral Jasmine, a flower known for releasing a more powerful scent at night. Musks add depth to the fragrance, while Cedarwood and Sandalwood bring intensity to its structure. If you like a bit of oriental mystique, you will enjoy this.

In 2017, I was smitten with Gucci BLOOM. I found it poetic and floral but loved how original it was.
The scent profile of BLOOM is that of a sophisticated bouquet — tuberose, jasmine sambac, lily of the valley, plus a South Indian flower called Rangoon creeper, which made its fragrance premiere in Bloom. I remember speaking about Rangoon creeper on Instagram stories a while back.

I love that Gucci has incorporated another unique flower from India yet again
The beautiful notes of Indian Coral Jasmine come through strongly after a while, a note exclusive to Gucci, collected in India by the Italian Brand ️ Memoire d’une Odeur has 10-12 hour longevity and it’s an unusual fragrance.

No doubt this bottle will look irresistible on your vanity
