Did you buy the REAL Moroccan Oil?

Giving my hair some intense nourishing tonight. I have added this @moroccanoil argan oil to my usual @kerastase_official magistral masque and I have applied it to my hair after cleansing. The results are always AMAZING! If your hair is dry and damaged...this is perfect for you. If you suffer with hair loss ... I suggest you skip this ritual and this product. Thank you to @sixtythree_hairstudio for always spoiling me with the most amazing haircare!

I was out shopping last week and noticed quite a few argan oil brands looking way too similar to world-famous Moroccan Oil.

Just to Clarify – Moroccan Oil is a BRAND. The main ingredient is obviously Argan Oil that is sourced from Morocco. Moroccan Oil is not sold at Drugstores in South Africa. It is a premium “salon exclusive” brand.

Don’t be fooled into buying cheaper imitations such as Oil of Morocco or Argan Oil of Morocco etc. There is only one “Moroccan Oil” and the packaging is a gorgeous Aqua-Blue and bright Orange. You should still be cautious as packaging is easily replicated these days. I often hear people tell me how greasy the Moroccan Oil from Avon is ??? Avon does not sell Moroccan Oil guys. You mean argan oil from Avon obviously.

Anyway – I love this oil. It is intensely nourishing and rather thick in consistency. This product is very versatile – It can be used to style, treat & repair. I have very oily hair naturally, So I refrain from using this when styling. If you have dry and frizzy hair, This is perfect for you.

I like to use this oil to repair and nourish my color damaged hair. I add a few drops of the Moroccan Oil into my Hair Masque to create a more intense treatment and then apply it to my cleansed & towel dried hair. I love sleeping in with this masque for ultimate results.

You will wake up to rather stiff, heavy hair but once you rinse and seal with a conditioner – Your hair will be soft and full of life again.

Just a note: If you suffer from hair loss, Please do not use this Moroccan oil or any other oil on your hair. I will do another post on why you shouldn’t oil your hair if you are hair loss-prone or battling alopecia.

I get all my Moroccan Oil products and other haircare from www.sixtythree.co.za – They deliver nationwide within 24 – 48 hours!

@jossiemischiefmakeup amazing product! its one of the best argan oils around ( beware of imitations …they even copy moroccan oil colors and design…its obviously not the same quality) and yes…if you have hairloss, please do not oil your hair. Its the biggest mistake and most people make this mistake so often. I will do a full post on this by next week.

Really?!? If you suffer with hair loss you shouldn’t oil your hair? I haven’t been applying oil in my hair recently but I use too a couple years back religiously once a week – I always suffered with hair loss and I thought it’s normal My hair loss is terrible right now – I had no clue I shouldn’t oil my hair cause I’ve been wanting to get back into it. My hair use to be really smooth & silky thanks to the oil – definitely would love to know more & thank you for this
